-To teach young people to freely express their thoughts and, in the same time, to train them on the production of printed materials.
– create conditions and improve the professional methods and forms of education in media within the Interschool Training and Production Institute for vocational training and guidance of students from Tiraspol;
– contribute to the democratic education and development of young people from Tiraspol; – provide the access to information on pressing social issues, as well as to local and international sources of information related to human rights for children and youth of the Transnistrian region
Beneficiaries: 75 students and 12 teachers underwent journalistic training; 7,500 pupils from the 10-12 grades from all schools of Tiraspol had access to a new, alternative source of information
Results: A set of equipment for running the “School of young journalists”: 5 computers, scanner, printer, copy machine, thermo-binder, and consumables for practical workshops paper, toner etc. was purchased and placed within the Interschool Training and Production Institute for vocational training and guidance of students from Tiraspol, where the training of students was conducted, as well as the school newspaper is being developed.
