Partnership for local development between the both banks of the Nistru River through confidence, community action and pro-active attitude

Partners: the LPA from Beloci and Molochisul Mare villages from the Ribnita rayon

Status: Concluded. Project delivery – 56%.

Short description:

– To increase the degree of trust between the both banks of the river, by addressing common social issues, fostering partnerships and involving citizens in the community development processes in the villages Molochişul Mare şi Beloci of Ribnita rayon.

– To repair the ambulatory and connect it to gas network in the village Molochisul Mare;

– To repair the ambulatory in the Beloci village; – to identify and train local leaders and other human resources, able to think and build the future of the villages Molochisul Mare and Beloci of the Ribnita rayon;

Beneficiaries: 4,200 inhabitants ofthe villages Beloci and Molochisul Mare from Ribnita rayon

Results: 6 persons (3 from Beloci and 3 from Molochisul Mare) were trained during the NGO Management Training, during 15-17 February 2011. 6 persons (3 from Beloci and 3 from Molochisul Mare) were trained during the TrainingonProject Management, during 23-25/02/2011. The participants learned to identify and describe a problem; formulate the project’s goal and objectives, as well as to plan development activities and to draft a budget. 5 persons (3 from Beloci and 2 from Molochisul Mare) were trained during the Community Development Training (10-14/03/2011). The participants identified social, environmental and economic problems in their villages, as well as strategic directions for the development of the villages Molochisul Mare and Beloci. Two public cafes with the participation of 26 persons (13 in each locality) from the villages Molochisul Mare and Beloci were held in May 2011.
